Adam has been working in architecture and construction for over two decades and has been practicing in the Santa Barbara area since 2013.  His architectural design experience includes an emphasis on large-scale and complicated projects. He has extensive technical knowledge and a passion for designing public spaces to serve the community and clients’ needs.

Locally, he has worked on Thomas Fire and Montecito Mudslide reconstruction, Sonos Laboratories, Zoom Santa Barbara offices, and various commercial and residential developments with Jeffery Berkus Architects, Anacapa Architecture, Warner Group Architects, and AB Design Studios before founding Outset Architecture with Ben Krintzman.

Most of Adam’s early career was spent in the Northeast with David Brody Bond. He gained experience collaborating with large teams of architects and engineers to realize the design vision. He is interested in the many scales of design, from planning to the technical detail of unique construction systems.

Outside of the office, Adam is an avid cyclist who has crossed the country via bicycle.
